Going Solo

An actor walks alone in an empty theatre.

‘Bourbons and Custard Creams’, Kal’s first solo theatre show, will premiere on February 26th from 4pm at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London. It’s part of a showcase of ‘scratch’ performances produced by participants of the Advanced Solo Theatre Performance course at the Actors Centre.

Currently in development, the theatre piece will explore the topic of interracial relationships. Inspiration for the show has come from Kal’s experiences, as well as those of individuals and couples whom were kind enough to share their observations.

The solo project is being develeped over the course of three days at the Actors Centre under the tutelage of Colin Watkeys, director of the Face To Face Festival of Solo Theatre.

Admission is free.
